Scripture
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT)
Message
The Bible. It’s a big book that has a lot of meaning. Some see it as an intimidating book that is hard to read and understand. However, the Bible reveals the true story of God’s love for us. God has made Himself known through the pages of the Bible and we have the amazing opportunity to get to know Him every time we read it! Not a word is wasted in the pages of the Bible. All of it points to our good, loving God who created, redeems, and restores His people. While some of the stories can be hard to understand, as we continue to grow in our knowledge of God, ourselves, and the world around us, the Bible begins to become more clear. We can pray and ask God for wisdom and understanding when we open up our Bibles. We can ask those that are older and wiser to read the Bible with us and help us understand! Engaging with the Bible isn’t a one time thing. We can read it for a lifetime and gain more knowledge, understanding, and wisdom with each new time we open it up!
