You may have heard, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all.” This applies to honesty as well. If what you’re going to say isn’t true, don’t say it at all. Honesty with ourselves and one another shows respect for what God has created. And, He tells us in His Word not to lie to each other! When we tell the truth, we are honoring God with our words, and building trust with those around us.
