This week we are learning about the Lightglider value of confidence. To be confident means to be secure in yourself, and it comes from a strong belief that you are valuable. Do you know how valuable you are? Well, let me remind you!
A Lightglider’s confidence does not come from abilities, friends, or moral performance. It comes from God’s never changing love for us! Living with confidence is important because it gives us courage and boldness to be a light in dark places, to stand up for what is right, and to talk to God when we’ve made a mistake.
We need confidence to stand up to the Machines and rescue the Gliddles. We need confidence to create beautiful spaces for Gliddles to go and live and thrive. We need confidence to make new friends at the Academy and encourage them in their missions. Remembering this value will help you in so many ways not only inside Lightgliders, but in your life as well.
