Be confident, Lightgliders! Confidence is one of our core values. To be confident is to believe that you are valuable. To be confident is to have faith. To be confident is to live courageously. A Lightglider’s confidence does not come from abilities, friends, or successes. These are good things, but they are inconsistent. No, our confidence must come from something far greater.

Confidence
True confidence comes from being absolutely convinced that you are valuable. It cannot come from your skills, your moral behavior, or other people’s opinion of you because these things waver and cause doubt. Rather, an unshakeable confidence comes from recognizing the depths of God’s love for you, which was showcased by Jesus at the cross! When we understand that our confidence can be anchored upon the unchanging rock of God’s love, we will live with the courage to shine in dark places, to stand up for what is right, and to repent to God when we make a mistake.
