Hey Lightglider!
The last three weeks we have been doing a deep dive into Chapter 1 of the Far Greater Story – Creation. God is our Creator. And, because He created us, we have tremendous purpose and value. Because you are made in the image of a powerful, good, and creative God, you have the ability to be creative yourself. That’s why we are discussing “Creativity” this week. You were creatively created by a creative Creator. Therefore, what good things are you inspired to create today?
Think of ways to use your unique gifts to put a smile on other people’s faces. Dream of ways to make an impact. Live with passion. Pursue beauty. Use your imagination. Be inspired. Create art and music. Come up with new ideas and innovations to help the world around you.
If you go into the Academy this week, use creativity to design an awesome treehouse. Use imagination to encourage others with every postcard you send out. Inspire others to play games together.
Be creative today. In doing so, you will reflect your Creator.

Take some time this week to be creative! Here are some reflection questions that will help.
• Read 1 Peter 4:10 in your Bible. In what ways are you gifted? How can you exercise creativity today?
• What are some ways to get to know God?
• Who inspires you? Why?
• What does it look like for you to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
• What do you think it means to be creative?

Dream of ways to shine this week. Here are some suggestions!
• Make something to share! Draw a picture, write a poem, or build something and give it to a family member or friend to brighten their day!
• Encourage others with creativity! Use your imagination to write a kind note or a handmade card to encourage someone who might need a smile.
• Solve a problem with an idea! Look around your home, school, or neighborhood and think of one way you could make things better - like organizing toys, creating a game to include others, or inventing a new way to help with chores!
