Message
Faith is a word you will hear quite a bit among Christians. The word literally means trust and belief. We all practice faith on a daily basis. If you sit down in a chair, you trust and believe in that chair, that it will hold you up when you sit down! Faith in Jesus is similar. It means that our trust and belief is in Him and in what He did for us on the cross. We can live with confidence and joy because our faith is in the One who has never let us down. And, according to our theme verse this week, the reward for our faith in Jesus is salvation. Jesus saves us from our sin and gives us eternal life.
