Hey Lightglider!
We have been learning about the Far Greater Story in recent weeks. This is the most important story ever. It is the true story of God’s love for us!
We talked about how God is good and how He called all that he has created “good.” However, we have rebelled against Him and have chosen at times not to live in accordance with His love and truth. This is called sin. It causes brokenness in us and in the world around us.
Once we recognize that we have sinned, we have the opportunity to repent. To repent means to change our minds and direction–to turn away from sin and turn to God. This requires humility. The Bible tells us to repent and turn to God so that our sins may be wiped away.
And here is the good news: God is faithful to forgive us! When we confess our sin and turn to Him, we can trust in His mercy and forgiveness. He restores the harmony in our relationship with Him and helps us live in His love and truth.
And when we understand how freely God forgives us, we can learn to forgive others too!
Knowing that God is willing to forgive you, is there someone you need to forgive? Think about that this week!

• Read Acts 3:17-20 in the Bible. How are your sins wiped out?
• What does it mean to repent?
• Why can we be willing to forgive others?
• What do you need to repent of and who do you need to forgive?

Dream of ways to shine this week. Here are some suggestions!
• Say sorry to God! Take a quiet moment to pray and confess something you’ve done wrong. Ask God to forgive you and help you make a better choice next time.
• Forgive someone who hurt you! If a friend, sibling, or classmate upset you, choose to forgive them instead of holding a grudge. Show the same grace that God shows you!
• Make things right! If you’ve wronged someone (like saying something unkind or breaking a promise), take action to fix it - apologize, be honest, or do something kind to rebuild the relationship.
