Well, hello there, new Lightglider! I'm Tova and I am here to tell you that YOU were uniquely MADE TO SHINE.
You are unique. That means that there is no one like you!
You were made. That means that you were not an accident!
You can shine. That means that you can positively impact others through your words and actions!
In honor of being unique, I want to tell you that you can change your outfits in Lightgliders at a moment's notice. If you are in the Academy just click on your profile picture to change outfits, hats, gliders, and even your look.
Also, if you ever receive a mystery code, you'll want to enter it into your Academy profile to get a helpful prize. You may want to ask your parent or group leader if any new mystery codes have been sent out this week. They'll find them in our weekly emails. Also, for every month that you're a Lightglider, you receive a special glider! Ask your parent or group leader for the code that comes in the monthly milestone emails!
In Glider Gear you can buy new outfits and gift new items to friends. As you earn light and collect gold on your missions and adventures, you will be able to buy the outfits you want. You can also play games and watch videos outside of the Academy to earn light and level up! Marlon will talk about that later!
Sometimes moderators will give out free gear at parties, which is always fun!
Every Lightglider has a very special name. Have you checked out the leaderboards for any games? There you can see the names of the players who have scored the highest in those games!
Remember, you were made to shine. The way we do that in Lightgliders is by pursuing three goals - RESPECT, RESCUE, and RESTORE. Watch these video to learn ways to pursue these goals.
