Hey Lightgliders!
This week we begin a brand new unit on the LIGHTGLIDER PRIORITY: LOVE!
This is the Lightglider priority because love is at the center of everything we do here in Lightgliders. But what does love really mean? Who are we supposed to love? And how do we show love to God and others?
That’s what we’re going to discover together!
When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, he said that we should love God with all of our heart, soul, and strength. Jesus was teaching us that God doesn’t just want a small part of us–he wants ALL of us! He wants us to love him with everything we are.
Heart = What I feel for God.
We love God by thanking him, talking to him through prayer, worshipping him, and growing closer to him.
Soul = Who I am because of God.
We love God by learning his story in the Scriptures, seeing ourselves as unique image-bearers of him, and reflecting upon how our story uniquely fits into his.
Strength = What I do for God.
We love God by using the gifts and talents he has given us to serve others and glorify him.
When we love God with our whole selves–our heart, soul, and strength–we become more like the person he created us to be.
And this is just the beginning! There are so many ways we can show our love for God every day!

Join us for Prayer Time with Penelope – Wednesday (5:30pm EST / 4:30pm CST), and Friday (4pm EST / 3pm CST)! We’ll meet at the Prayer Circle, which is north of the Track.
• Monday: Join moderators in Mission Control at 5pm EST / 4pm CST to gather in groups and go on multiplayer missions together in the Yonders!
