“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know it.” - Psalm 139:14 (NLT)

Hey Lightglider!
We’ve talked about two important parts of love: loving God and loving others. But there’s one more important piece to the picture – loving yourself!
Did you know that YOU are beautiful in the sight of God?
The Bible tells us that God created us with care, purpose, and love. Because God made us and calls His creation good, we must learn to see ourselves the way He sees us!
Loving yourself doesn’t mean thinking you are better than everyone else or making yourself the most important person. That kind of love leads to pride. Instead, loving yourself means recognizing that you are someone God created, someone He knows, and someone He deeply loves.
Think about this: the same God who created the amazing skies we look at, the earth we walk on, and the air we breathe also took the time to carefully and creatively design every part of you. He created your personality, your gifts, your abilities, and every part of who you are. How incredible is that!?
When we understand how much care God put into making us, our response is worship and gratitude. We can celebrate what He has made – including ourselves!
So remember this, Lightglider. You are wonderfully made by God. You are deeply loved. And you are created with a purpose. Show yourself some love today!
Glide On!

Dream of ways to shine this week. Here are some suggestions!
• The “Mirror Truth” Challenge! Look in the mirror today and name one thing you see that you’re thankful God gave you - your smile, your curly hair, your freckles, or something else. Remind yourself: “God made this on purpose and it is good!”
• The “Try Something New” Challenge: Because God made you creative and capable, try something new this week. It could be a new game, a new skill, or a new project. You don’t have to be perfect–you just have to be willing to try. Loving yourself means trusting that God has given you gifts and abilities worth exploring.
• The “Wonderfully Made” Challenge: Grab a piece of paper and write down three things you’re thankful for about yourself – things on the inside or outside. Maybe it’s your imagination, your patience, your senses of humor, or something else unique about how God made you. Keep your note in a place where you will see it as a reminder. You are worth celebrating – not because you are better than anyone else, but because you are created and loved by God!
