Hey Lightglider!
We’re so glad you’re here! We - the other Lightglider leaders and me - want you to always remember that you were made to shine. With a lot of darkness in the world, that can feel like a big responsibility. But like a candle in a dark tunnel, even the smallest light can be blinding. You were each created by God with unique interests, personalities, and talents that can be used to make an impact on the world around you! With Jesus, the light of the world, to follow as your example, you will shine like stars in the heavens. Reflect His love and light everywhere you go. You were made for this!
Here are some activities to do and questions to reflect upon this week in Lightgliders.
Monday
• Watch the Spark video in green called The Power of Light.
• What does it mean to live in God’s light and to share it with the world?
Tuesday
• Read LGA News in red to see what’s happening inside Lightglider Academy this week.
• What do you think it means to shine?
Wednesday
• Watch the Prayer video in orange called Courage to Shine.
• In what ways could you shine in the darkness?
Thursday
• Compete as a family in the Game of the Week in purple called Bible Code Breaker.
• How were you uniquely made to love God and love others?
Friday
• Decorate the “Made to Shine” Sticker Page and send it to a friend.
• How could your interests, personality, or talents be used to shine?
Saturday/Sunday
• Read John 1:1-5 in the Bible.
• What are all the things we learn about the “Word” in these verses?
