Theme This Week: PRAYER
Hey Lightgliders!
The theme this week inside Lightgliders is PRAYER. Prayer simply means talking with God. The primary goal of prayer is intimacy with the One who made us! God loves when we talk with Him about our lives, thank Him for the good things He has given us, and ask Him for help. Prayer doesn’t have to be long and full of big words for it to matter. Prayer is telling God what is on your mind and heart. Our theme verse this week tells us to always be praying. We can always stay connected to the One who loves us so much.
Here are some activities for you to do and questions to reflect upon this week in Lightgliders. Do these by yourself or with a family member!
Monday
• Watch the Spark video in green called Ways to Pray.
• What are your favorite ways to pray?
Tuesday
• Read Game News in red to see what’s happening inside Lightglider Academy this week.
• What does your prayer life look like?
• Join Gertrude in front of the Arcade in the Academy for a Dance Break at 4:30 EST! Come bust a move and get a prize!
Wednesday
• Watch the Prayer video in orange called For My School.
• Is there a teacher or student on your heart to pray for?
• Find Norman Snowman Cook in the Courtyard at 5:30 EST. He’s telling jokes and giving out prizes!
Thursday
• Compete in the Game of the Week in purple called Yonders Run. Everyone on the leaderboard gets a new glider on Saturday!
• What are three things you can thank God for in prayer?
• Try to find Corrigan Hickory Sage at the Academy today at 6pm EST. You'll get a prize if you find him!
Friday
• Check out this week’s LGTV episode - Materials Tutorial!
• Who is someone you can pray with?
Saturday/Sunday
• Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 in the Bible.
• Take time to stop and pray after reading these verses.
