Hey Lightgliders!
As we continue to look at ways to KNOW, GROW in, and SHOW God’s love, the theme this week is PRAYER. Prayer simply means talking with God. It enables us to connect with God and GROW in His love. The primary goal of prayer is friendship with the One who made us! God loves when we talk with Him about our lives, thank Him for the good things He has given us, and ask Him for help. Prayer doesn’t have to be long and full of big words for it to matter. Prayer is telling God what is on your heart, and listening for what is on His. Our theme verse this week tells us to always be praying.
Through prayer, we are connecting with the One who loves us the most!

Here are some activities for you to do and questions to reflect upon this week in Lightgliders. Do these by yourself or with a family member!
• Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 in the Bible. Take time to pray after reading these verses.
• What are your favorite ways to pray?
• What does your prayer life look like?
• Is there a teacher or classmate on your heart to pray for today?
• What are three things you can thank God for in prayer?
• Who is someone you can pray with this week?
Use your Lightgliders Journal to answer these questions!
• PARTY WEEK!! Join your Lightglider friends and moderators in the Courtyard on Friday for the Light Up The World Party at 5pm EST / 4pm CST!
• Shine Bright Postcard Contest this week! Send postcards to your friends and report your favorites that you receive!

Dream of ways to shine this week. Here are some suggestions!
• Think of ways you can “never stop praying” this week. Maybe find a verse from a psalm, write it on a notecard, and carry it with you throughout the day! Every time you see it, read it as a prayer and thank God for His love!
• Does your family pray before meals? If so, volunteer to pray for one or two this week!
• Use your Lightglider journal to write out some prayers when you’re in the Academy!
Join us for Prayer Time with Penelope – Wednesday (5:30pm EST / 4:30pm CST), and Friday (4pm EST / 3pm CST)! We’ll meet at the Prayer Circle, which is north of the Track.
• Monday: Join moderators in Mission Control at 5pm EST / 4pm CST to gather in groups and go on multiplayer missions together in the Yonders!
• Wednesday: Let's play some games in Lightglider Academy at 6pm EST / 5pm CST! Join moderator Flounder today for a game of Glad-Libs in the Academy!
• Thursday: Join us for Bible Chat in the Library at 6pm EST / 5pm CST for the final week of our Easter study, discussing the Resurrection!!
• Friday: PARTY DAY!! Meet in the Courtyard at 5pm EST / 4pm CST for the Light Up The World Party!
• Saturday: Connect with the Ambassadors in the Courtyard at 4pm EST / 3pm CST for some fun and games.
