Theme This Week: PURPOSE
Hey Lightglider!
This we’re talking about the Lightglider value of purpose. Purpose is one of the five core values of a Lightglider. To live with purpose means to live every day with the belief that your life matters. But how do we know this is true, especially when we don’t feel it from others? This belief comes from the truth that there is a God who made us in His image. Because of this, our lives have worth and dignity that no one can take away. We have the opportunity each day to do the good things that God had in mind for us when He created us in His image.
In Lightglider Academy, we rescue Gliddles, clear the blight, and seek to help others any way we can. Look around you. The world is in need and you were uniquely created to make an impact in a way that only you can. Your life matters! You have incredible purpose! As you get to know your Creator, you will begin to understand that He gives you purpose.
Here are some activities for you to do and questions to reflect upon this week in Lightgliders. Do these by yourself or with a family member!
Monday
• Watch the Spark video in green called The Value of Purpose.
• In what ways do you live with a sense of purpose?
Tuesday
• Read LGA News in red to see what’s happening inside Lightglider Academy this week.
• Join the Lightglider Luau Party in Lightglider Academy TODAY at 6pm EST / 5pm CST!
Wednesday
• Watch the Prayer video in orange called Prayer for Purpose.
• How does knowing that you are God’s masterpiece help you live with purpose?
Thursday
• Compete as a family in the Game of the Week in purple called Avoid the Blast.
• What do you seek to avoid at all costs? For some, it might be homework and vegetables. What is it for you?
Friday
• Decorate the “Purpose” Sticker Page and send it to a friend.
• How do you or could you impact the world in a positive way?
• Join the Lightglider Luau Party in Lightglider Academy TODAY at 6pm EST / 5pm CST!
Saturday/Sunday
• Read Ephesians 2:8-10 in the Bible.
• According to this passage, what are we created for?
