Theme This Week: REDEMPTION
Hey Lightglider!
Continuing in discussion of The Far Greater Story, we have come to its climax, known as Redemption. God created everything good. Man rebelled against Him. And because of our rebellion, we are separated from God. Without the next part of the story, we are left without hope.
But God, in His goodness, didn’t leave us hopeless! He sent His Son Jesus to redeem us from our sin. Redemption means to be bought back, or to be freed from captivity. By Jesus living the life we could not live and dying the death we deserved to die because of our sin, He bought us back!
When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for our sins with His blood, so that we may be restored to God and live forever with Him. This is what it means to be redeemed. We can have abundant and eternal life because of what He did for us! What a gift!

• Spend some time praising God for sending Jesus to rescue you!

• Compete in the BRAND NEW Game of the Week in purple called Wall Ball.
• How do you show people you care?
Friday
• Decorate the “Redemption” Sticker Page.
• How can being redeemed give you confidence?

Saturday/Sunday
• Read 1 Peter 2:21-25 in the Bible.
