I can’t tell you how important it is to have good role models! I know what what you’re thinking. “Isn’t a role model just really good-looking bread?” And to that I say, “No! That’s a roll model.”
A role model is someone you can look up to! He or she serves as an example to you for how to live, how to treat people, and how to grow in your faith. For me, it’s Marlon. He cares about me and shows me what it looks like to walk with God. Who is it for you? It could be a parent, an older sibling, or perhaps a leader in your church. I encourage you to find someone you can look up to and ask them lots of questions. Remember to listen to their answers!!

Role Models
A role model is defined as "a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated." We often adopt role models based upon what appeals to us on a daily basis. That is why athletes, actors, and musicians in the spotlight are often chosen. However, we should be more selective about who we look up to. Those who walk with God and love others well make great role models. We want Lightgliders everywhere to find people like this and spend time with them, observe their lives, ask them questions, and listen to their answers. These interactions can change the course of a person’s life!
